Leeds United Players Linked With Moves Away

With the January transfer window to open in two weeks time the rumour mill has gathered pace around Elland Road with the clubs leading marksmen interesting a number of  top flight clubs.

A number of national tabloids are this week filling up there gossip columns with rumours that Leeds United strike force Luciano Becchio and Ross McCormack are on the way out of the club in January. Reportedly, Becchio is a transfer target for Tony Mowbray’s Middlesbrough and McCormack is reportedly interesting a number of top flight clubs after his impressive start to this season.

Both strikers are vitally important to the club and we would be of the belief that the club would fend off any interest. However, as we have seen many times before if the money is right, the club may succumb.

In all honesty I doubt very much the club would allow them both to leave. Both players are not one of the many at the club that which are in the final years of their contracts and would be in a strong position to ask for a higher transfer fee.

The club’s fans are starting to speculate who the club will now bring in this window with many of the belief that a centre half and a ball winning midfielder should be Simon Grayson’s top priority.

We want to know who you think the club needs or doesn’t need in January. Do we need a new centre back and ball winning midfielder? or do you believe we need to strengthen in other areas? Share with us your thoughts!
