As Leeds United’s season comes to an end, so indeed does ours here at Right In The Gary Kelly’s. If we said it has been a memorable one I would of course be lying but it has brought about plenty of talking points on and off the pitch, some of which we will discuss in this final Podcast of the season.
You can expect to hear thoughts on our new manager, Brian McDermott and who he may look to sign and keep at the club past this summer. We’ll also discuss the squad; the possible ins and outs on what could be, yet again, another hectic summer. There’s also a word on our new kit (which was showcased during Saturday’s game with Brighton) and how it’s caused major division amongst some fans.
You can also catch an extract of the chat we had with ex England and Leeds United right back Danny Mills. Signed just before the millennium, Mills went on to play over a 100 games for the Whites and his whole-hearted, often robust displays won him a lot of fans during his time at Elland Road.
Back at Thorp Arch promoting the LUFC Channel charity rowing challenge he will be doing next summer, you could almost sense that Danny just loved being back
Danny talked about his time at Leeds, his fondest memories, the circumstances behind his departure and how he had always wanted a return to the club. It was an honest and insightful conversation from a man who still holds the club in high regard. The full interview with Danny will be available in the next couple of days.
And finally we have a plug from another former fans favorite or should we say current fans favorite which will be our final interview of this season later this week so keep your ears open for that one.
For now though, we thank you for listening and if you would like to send us your feedback contact us on twitter @RITGK hope you enjoy our final podcast of the season. MOT!
